RRP Sport Light Oil was developed with the concept of "We're particular about engine oil!" We use base oils carefully selected for compact sports vehicles to create an engine oil that prioritizes response, with excellent durability and oil film retention. In addition, we use a magnesium-based additive to counter LSPI, a concern for downsized direct injection turbo engines such as the K14C engine. It is suitable for naturally aspirated engines such as the M16A, as well as R06A turbo engines and K14C direct injection turbo engines.

*LSPI (Low-Speed Pre-Ignition): A phenomenon in which calcium contained in engine oil causes spontaneous ignition earlier than normal, resulting in abnormal combustion. This causes an abnormal increase in pressure inside the cylinder and knocking, which can damage pistons, connecting rods, spark plugs, etc.

The carefully selected base oil and appropriate additives are combined to suit everything from standard to fine tuning, and is compatible with a wide range of engines, from naturally aspirated engines to direct injection turbo engines.
This oil is low cost yet offers outstanding durability and response.
Meets SP standards, which are essential for direct injection turbo engines, and are excellent at suppressing LSPI and preventing timing chain wear.
